Impact Physio was established in 1988, we re-branded in 2000 and moved premises in Long Eaton to Derby Road. We opened satellite clinics in Pride Park Derby, West Bridgford Nottingham, and most recently on Kedleston Road at The University of Derby’s new sports centre. We have also expanded our services to work more closely with allied healthcare professionals and partner with physiotherapists who specialise in Pain Management and Hand therapy. Our Long Eaton site also has an up to date Pilates studio offering the latest equipment; our most recent addition is the Core Align. Our individual and group pilates sessions andyoga classes are also led by Physiotherapists Our physios all have a minimum of 5 years practical experience but most have many more than that (and a few so many they just don’t want to say!) Many of our staff have completed their Masters. We’re physios first who happen to run a business too. It shapes everything we do. We genuinely like people and we hope people like us. We’ve got some truly special people in our teams who’ve done some pretty amazing things, so we feel we can completely empathise with you. Whether it’s a work related/postural problem, a sports injury or non specific pain, a member of our experienced team will take the time to work with you to plan the best course of action. Are you registered? Yes, with the Health Professions council and we are members of the CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy). Do I need a doctor's referral? We work closely with General Practitioners, consultants and specialists, however you do not need a referral unless your treatment is covered by private medical insurance. We can usually deal directly with your insurer for payment. Please ask when you make your appointment. Do you only see private patients? No - some local doctor’s surgeries refer to us under the NHS. Please ask if this applies to you. Can I use my BUPA membership? Yes, we are registered with leading medical insurance companies. We have a provider number which you can pass on to your insurer if required. How long will I have to wait for an appointment? If you are self-funding and are available we can usually see you the same day.

ronman Vichy, France August 2017 Sally, you provided some physio care to me a few months ago whilst I was in the middle of hard training for my first IronMan. I had a dodgy knee pain and after a few consultations you sent me away with some stretches and excercises to do. Well, they worked. On Sunday I got over that finish line in France and became an IronMan. I had (and still have) many aches and pains from it, but thankfully the knee is not one of them! Many thanks for the help and advice. All the best, Ash Hallam Very knowledgeable, quick diagnosis of root cause and explanation of problem/weakness. Progressive exercises given, where it is easy for me to track progress and improvement. Efficient, professional, knowledgeable treatment in a very friendly environment. -- Lyn Gratton Very pleased with my treatment, I came same seven years ago and was also pleased. The work these people do is good. Keep it up – I am very thankful for the treatment. Name withheld .. all is really good at the moment exercises working very well. May I add what a brilliant service you have provided I will be returning when I have a problem -- Rob Healy My busy little life came off the rails somewhat last week when my back started giving me serious grief. Fortunately I knew what to do. I did what I have advised so many people to do so successfully over the years - I called Impact! What followed was an incredibly fast, efficient, effective and thoroughly pleasant experience. Jane called me back within minutes and had me slotted in for a cancellation that afternoon with the marvellous Alison. 24 hours later the equally marvellous Zena picked up the wand and continued to work the Impact magic. 3 days later I was back to doing my spring chicken impersonations and doing what I'm infamous for - growing old disgracefully!! I really can't thank you enough and congratulate you on such a wonderful practice. -- Jon Bancroft A Physiotherapy clinic is not a place you really want to go, but Impact really is a great place. Always helpful & friendly & with my best interests at heart. I would always recommend Impact Physiotherapy to anyone. -- M Green
